How our prices work

Every price here is a real market price, refreshed daily and sourced transparently. Here’s exactly where the numbers come from and how we show them.

Where prices come from

We pull card prices once a day from Scryfall, which aggregates USD market prices from TCGplayer. We don’t set or estimate prices ourselves — we show the market’s, and every card links out to live listings so you can confirm the current ask before you buy.

How often they update

Prices refresh every day. To keep price history honest, we record a card’s price only when it actually moves — so the history chart shows real changes, not day-to-day rounding noise. A card that’s held steady shows a flat line until it genuinely moves; the number you see is always its most recent recorded price.

The price we show

By default we surface the cheapest paper printing in USD, compared across normal, foil, and etched finishes — usually what you want when you’re building or buying. Every other printing and finish is listed on the card’s page, each with its own price and buy links, so you can compare at a glance.

Affiliate links

Some outbound “buy” links are affiliate links: if you purchase through them, we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. It never changes the price you pay or which sellers we show — the ranking is the same either way.

Not financial advice

Card prices move fast and vary by condition, seller, and region. Everything here is informational only — not financial or investment advice. Always check the live listing before making a purchase.
