Privacy

Short version: we run our own privacy-friendly analytics to learn what's useful. No ad trackers, no cross-site tracking, and we never sell your data. If you ask us for a price alert, we keep your email address to send it — and you can delete it in one click.

What we collect

For each visit: the pages viewed, the site that referred you, a coarse device / browser / OS label, and an approximate location (country, region, city) derived from your IP. Your IP is one-way hashed with a rotating salt and never stored in raw form.

Only if you accept analytics: a random session id and a rolling (~6-month) visitor id kept in your browser's local storage, plus any campaign tags (UTM parameters) in the link you arrived from. These let us tell new from returning visitors and see which links work. Analytics never includes your name or email address, and there are no passwords or user accounts on this site.

Price alerts and email

If you set a price alert ("Watch price") or sign up for updates, we store the email address you give us. For an alert we also store what you asked to watch: the card, the finish (normal, foil or etched), and the price you want to hear about.

We use it only to send what you asked for. We don't sell it, rent it, or send you unrelated marketing.

Nothing is sent until you confirm. Setting an alert triggers one confirmation email. If you never click the link, we never email you again — so nobody can sign up your address behind your back.

Delivery is handled by Resend, our email provider. They process your address solely to deliver messages you asked for.

You stay in control. Every email carries a one-click unsubscribe and a link to manage your alerts, where you can change a target price, remove one alert, or switch everything off. Switching everything off deletes your alerts and your address from that list immediately — no confirmation gauntlet, and no account to close.

Your choices

Use the banner to accept or reject non-essential analytics — rejecting is one tap, and if you reject we only keep an anonymous page count with no identifiers. We also automatically honour your browser's Global Privacy Control or Do-Not-Track signal as a rejection. You can change your mind anytime:

Buying links

Our "Buy" links redirect through /go to marketplaces (TCGplayer, eBay, Amazon) with our affiliate tag. Those sites have their own privacy policies once you land there.

Retention

Raw analytics events are kept for about 180 days; only aggregate counts are retained longer. Price alerts and the email address attached to them are kept until you remove them — unsubscribing deletes them straight away. Everything lives in our own database; the only outside party is our email provider, and only for messages you asked to receive.
